Read about the types of classes we offer:

Foundations

This class is suitable for beginners and for those who want to explore the basic foundational structure of yoga poses. Looking at correct alignment, breaking down some of the poses into more detail, but also building up sequences to show how each pose flows into the next. Meditation and breath-work will also be incorporated into each class creating an understanding of how these practices work together in a cohesive way.

Strength

Here we look at building strength and we play around with more advanced poses. There will be faster flows, longer holding poses and interesting challenges for both body and mind. This class will make you work hard and come out feeling accomplished. We will still always end with relaxation and śavāsana at the end of every class.

Dynamic to Still

Getting the best of both, this class will balance both your passive (yin) and active (yang) energies. We will spend half of the class doing a slower practice, working with the breath and holding stretches for longer, and the other half of the class will be quite dynamic, playing with faster flows, heating the body up and getting the heart pumping. It can either start slow and end fast, or start fast and end slow - OR we might play with mixing these dynamics throughout the class.

Rest

This class is a necessity for anyone who needs some replenishment after a busy week by offering various ways to calm the mind and body. We will help you to release tension by using props that support the body in restorative poses, soothing your nervous system. Complemented by breath work and Meditation, this combination will leave you feeling rested and reconnected within.

Every Body

This class will challenge, improve and satisfy any body, shape and skill level. We might do flows, we might practice stillness, we might break down harder poses. It will be an ever-changing class that adapts to the collective mood of Every Body present on that day.
